My name is Cindy Groves. I was brought up in Hampshire and have lived here for most of my life. I live alone, my three children are all pursuing their own lives now and I am immensely proud of who they are.
I wrote and delivered my eldest son’s wedding ceremony in Canada in 2018. He is training to be a vet and has married the love of his life and lives in Saskatchewan.
I have worked with children for years, I ran a pre-school for 20 years and have been a Celebrant for six years. There is something about being involved with families that gives me huge satisfaction. Celebrancy marches well alongside influencing a sense of community and responsibility for yourself.
I want to make a difference in people’s lives; to help them through sad times and to laugh with them in happy moments. I am a realist and I believe in trying hard to make the best of everything, being kind and thoughtful and pragmatic. I hate waste; wasting time, money and resources is absolutely the worst.
Don’t be afraid to ask, there is no such thing as a stupid question and I like to see things from another perspective.
